What is "Next Location" and How Does It Work?

Learn how Next Location controls the movement path of your backstock bins — and how to set it up for your store.

What is Next Location?

Next Location is a setting on each backstock location that tells ResaleAI where bins should move when they're advanced. This lets your team move bins in a consistent, predefined order — no guessing, no miscommunication.

For example, a typical store flow might look like this:

  • Unit → Pickup from Unit
  • Pickup from Unit → Backroom
  • Backroom → Floor
  • Fitting Room → Floor
