DRS requirements

ResaleAI requires DRS 8.3 or above. If you need to update DRS, reach out to the Winmark support center and they can assist.

Computer operating system requirements

ResaleAI is compatible with all up-to-date POS computers running Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Newer versions of ResaleAI are not compatible with Windows XP

  • the highest version of ResaleAI that will run on Windows XP is ResaleAI version 2.5.5
  • If you currently have a POS computer using Windows XP, we recommend that you update as soon as possible as there are critical security risks

If you are unsure which version of Windows you have, check the “Start” button of your computer:

  • To work effectively, all the computers in your store need to be using the same version of ResaleAI.

  • In order to use the newer features of ResaleAI, you will need to make sure all POS computers are on Windows 7 or 10 before you can begin using the beta version on all computers.

  • If needed, you could install the newest version of ResaleAI on only your updated computers (Win 7 or 10), and not use ResaleAI on your older XP computers until they are updated or replaced.

It’s possible that you may be able to update your Windows XP computer for free!

  • Check the HP model number on the front of your POS computer.

The model number is usually printed below the USB ports on the front of the computer. It should say something like "HP rp____"

  • If you see “rp5800” or "rp5810" this can be updated. Reach out to the Winmark support center and they can help you upgrade your computer to Windows 10 at no cost.
  • If you see “rp5700,” unfortunately the POS will eventually need to be replaced.
