Can i assign tasks to an employee or plan task due dates

You can assign tasks to the right person in advance to delegate effectively.


That person will see their picture or initials next to the task on the Daybook, so they know it's assigned to them.


If someone else completes that task instead, it will record the person who actually marked the task complete, regardless of who was assigned. So you'll always know who did what for accountability.



Assigning one-off tasks


  • As you start typing to add a quick task, click the 'person' icon that appears on the left, and choose the desired employee

  • You will see the assigned employee's icon next to the task 

  • You can also click the "+" button to add a new task, and assign an employee as you add the task details

 

  • For existing tasks, managers can edit the task to assign someone after the fact. (Be sure you enter your PIN first as a manager in order to edit)


 


For recurring task lists:


  • Click the menu dots in the top-right corner, then click "Assign tasks"

  • The checkbox beside your recurring task lists will turn into the assignment icon instead

  • Go through and assign all tasks for the day, then click "Exit assign mode" at the top when you're done!
