Can I display When I Work positions on the Day Book?

There are 3 primary ways that stores display position or role information on ResaleAI.
Shift color
If give a shift a color in When I Work, we will display that on the left side of the schedule in ResaleAI. This is a fast and easy way to denote things like who the Manager on Duty is, which shifts are on-call, etc.
Shift notes
Shift notes let everyone know what to expect and are great at communicating special circumstances like "Buy training with Haley" or "pickup backstock from storage." You can add these notes when creating the schedule through WhenIWork. If you add a note to a shift in When I Work, it will display as a chat bubble on the ResaleAI schedule. Simply move your mouse over the chat bubble to see the details.
Notes & Kudos
Some stores like to write a daily note that includes role assignments, specific times for breaks, and more. The Notes tool is the most flexible way to communicate the information that is most important in your store!
Why doesn't ResaleAI just display the position information from When I Work?
We have found that position information tends to get outdated quickly
Positions are a great tool to use through WhenIWork before the schedule is sent out to your team. But we have found that once people start swapping shifts and making adjustments, it's hard to ensure that the assigned position is the true intention.
We see situations where a brand new Stylist may end up with a shift position for Lead Buyer. Or even worse, the new Assistant Manager who is still working to transition to a leadership role shows up as Training to Buy.
These kinds of accidents can create serious confusion within the team, resulting in hurt feelings or unmet expectations that can be hard to recover from. So we have decided to exercise a little extra caution until we are sure we can get it right.
