Suggested Pre-Written Text Messages

Developing pre-written text messages for your store is a great tool to keep your customer communication appropriate, and relay the correct information at all times. It also saves time in store, employees can select the option from the drop down and just hit send and the message sends immediately. These are some suggested options for your pre-written text messages:


Drop Off Brands: a text to the customer when their buy is ready, we bought things from them, and they had a ton of brand name items


Drop Off New: a text to the customer when their buy is ready, we bought things from them, and they had a lot of new or great quality items.


Drop Off Inventory: a text to the customer when their buy is ready, we bought things from them, and they had a lot of items within our inventory needs.  


All Pass Sales History: a text to the customer when their buy is ready, and we didn’t buy anything from them because we have a bad sales history with the styles or brands that they brought in.


All Pass Older Styles: a text to the customer when their buy is ready, and we didn’t buy anything from them because their items were out of our date range.


All Pass Wear: a text to the customer when their buy is ready, and we didn’t buy anything from them because their items were too loved for us to resell.


Reminder: a text to the customer the following day to remind them that their buy is ready


Store Credit: a text to the customer to let them know that we have store credit at the store for them.


Donated: a text to the customer to let them know that their items have been donated to a local charity.


Hello: a simple greeting, can be used when there are questions about a buy.


Now Hiring: a text to announce that we are hiring, to send to our frequent customers.


Open Interviews: a text to send to applicants to give details about open interviews


 


These are some suggested options for auto-reply messages:


411: a text with basic information, hours, address, etc.


Apply: a text with the link to our online job application.


Donate: a text to the customer when they donate their items to charity, link to tax receipt from charity’s website.


 


When creating the wording of these messages we recommend you ask fellow owners for examples of their messages.
