How do I flag a customer?

In certain situations it may be helpful to identify a customer in the customer record that isn't welcome in the store. Sometimes a customer who is selling may be attempting to bring in stolen goods, or maybe they have stolen from your store before, or they were possibly even violent or made threats towards an employee. In whichever case, we have a system in place that you can use to flag that customer in their customer record.


This can be especially helpful in the case of a customer attempting to sell stolen goods to a store repeatedly.


 


How to Flag a Customer:


  • Find and click the Customer tab on the left hand menu, it looks like this:  


  • Then, using the search bar at the top of the screen, search for the name of the customer you wish to flag and click on them
  • A popup will appear with the customers information. On the upper right side of the window you will see a Flag Customer switch. 
  • Click the switch and another popup will appear asking for the reason that the customer being flagged. Fill that out and click the blue button that says "FLAG". 
  • After entering the reason for flagging the customer, the customer profile will turn red and the reason for flagging will be in the very top next to the customers name.

 


How to Un-flag a Customer


  • Find and click the Customer tab on the left hand menu, it looks like this:  


  • Then, using the search bar at the top of the screen, search for the name of the customer you wish to un-flag and click on them
  • A popup will appear with the customers information. On the upper right side of the window you will see a Flag Customer switch.
  • Click the switch and another popup will appear making sure you want to unflag the customer. If you are sure you would like to remove the flag, click the blue "REMOVE" button.
